2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
may not be a bad deal in the end, if you can win the claim for the MSRP price, you can prob buy a new intake and have some cash left over.
the only issue is going to be if you had insurance on it

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Yup, they automatically insure you for $100, but anything over that, you would have had to pay for.

Not true at all. Most sellers don't want a bad review and are willing to work with you to keep it as close to 100% as possible.
If an insurance claim is going to be made though fedex, the seller will have to do so.
How reputable is he/she?
Did you pay using paypal? A checking account or creditcard on paypal?

I went through paypal that's linked up to my checking account. And the seller isn't a big seller but he's also contacting fed ex to try and solve the problem

Sorry to hear. Usually it is the Post Office that screws me. I bought a fixed belt tensioner from another member last year and sent him payment. He contacted me about 2 weeks later and asked if I was going to pay him? Just as I was getting ready to send another payment, and do a stop payment at my bank on the first one, he received it. It took something like 24 days for my check to go about 5 hours from where I live down to him in Maryland. It was even a typed address with a barcode and electronic postage. Bastages!
