Yeah I was going to post something but have been really busy trying to keep up with all the posting on Mdshooters.com. I've been following this case since it was filed back in 2010. This is huge. A federal judge rules the first decision that extends the second ammendmant outside the home. Some people are applying for permits immediately, I'm going to wait for the dust to settle. We'll know soon if the court grants Md a stay. (doubtfull) O'malley and attorney general Gansler can lick my sack. I wonder how the Brady Bunch will spin this into a win for them?

The Maryland specific regional section of Mdshooters.com should have all the info you'll be able to read for a while. The original thread on the case is only 270ish pages long and growing by the hour. If you own a gun in Md you shoulda been here a long time ago. Join up.

Judge Legg has lifted the temporary stay in the case effective August 8th. Barring an emergency stay put in place by the CA4 the Maryland State Police will begin issuing permits immediately come the 8th.
Read the decision here:

My application was turned in back in March and processed already, shouldn't be long now.

The CA4 issued a stay today pending appeal.
They obviously didn't even read Guras briefs.

I'm losing a little faith for us. The 4th granting this stay took a little wind out of our sails.
