2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
Just got a GoPro
Christmas present to myself, GoPro Hero HD.
I also got a few mounts, couldn't get a head mount in time to go SCUBA diving next week, so I'm gonna try to use the chest mount.
Got the suction cup, its pretty damn strong, I was hoping to get some ideas from yall about mounting points on my car, and some cool ideas to do with it.

Congrats. Haven't read much about these yet, but I've seen some awesome videos with them. Looks to be a pretty damn good piece of equipment.

I've ran it a one a few times from the rear quarter at the drag strip. Makes for a pretty cool video. Killer video if the race is close enough to keep both cars in the picture.
Buddy of mine suctioned it to the ttop and it also made for a cool video.Last edited by derekbuckner1; 12-31-2011 at 06:46 AM.

just made a little video driving around my neighborhood, and soon into it, the audio gets about 3 seconds ahead.
That was in windows media player, put it in FLV and the video froze up a lot, so i ran it at half speed, and everything lined up just right.
I think its my laptop, its a little netbook, and playing the video has my RAM almost maxed out, hoping its just that, and not anything wrong with the camera. I heard they used to have crackling problems, but that was fixed with a firmware update

If you get it worked out, post it up. I've been debating getting one for a while now

now that ive been playing with it, i think my laptop just cant handle 960p at 30FPS, so the video is behind, not the audio being ahead, im gonna put it on youtube to see what happens

heres my test video, looks a lot better on here.
only prob I see is that with the fisheye, it should prob be on the passenger side, I got way sideways on that right hand turn, but on the video it looks like I just barely slid a little, but i was out about 30 degrees
and dont bash the pink floyd shorts...
