Wilwood brake kit fitment
I found a Wilwood Superlite 6 kit cheap, only problem is it is for a 93-97 camaro and mine is a 2000. has anyone adapted an older kit to an ls1 car? It seems that i would just need a different bracket to mount the caliper. hoping there is an easy fix for this, got the kit really cheap.

I took a look at their site and they seem to have some good info.
1997 - http://wilwood.com/BrakeKits/BrakeKi...sc Brake Rear.
2000 - Wilwood High Performance Disc Brakes - Rear Brake Kits: 2000 Chevrolet Camaro
You'll have to do some reading, but my recollection is that there is a difference.

this is a front kit but thank you for the links. I think I need to find a bracket that will mount to my ls1 spindle and still have the mounting holes in the right spot for the lt1 kit. Another thing that I could do is get a set of spindles from an lt1 car and just mount the kit as designed. the problem with that is that they require heavy modification and i would rather do it with a bracket.

Whoops. My bad. For some reason I thought I read "rear" in there somewhere.

it's ok. turns out that a spindle for a 93-97 car will bolt on to a 98-02 car so I'm going to pick up a pair and just swap them so i can mount this kit on my ride. If there is anyone out there who has a 93-97 car and is looking for a complete setup off a ls1 car with 27k on it to upgrade to the 12" ls1 brakes let me know.
