Ses light
Went to scan my car today and i got this code P0702 witch means transaxle actuator lost power. What is a transaxle actuator and what does it do? also what can be causing this problem?
also my interior lights pulse could it be related?

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Think it's something to do with the transmission, not positive.
An A4 I'm assuming?
Is it shifting ok?

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Googled from a Saturn site (I assume to be similair since they're GM):
"The transaxle is a fully automatic unit consisting of four multiple disc clutches, a four element torque converter with a lock up clutch, 1st gear sprag clutch, and a servo actuated dog clutch.
The most significant departure from the traditional automatic transaxle comes from the use of electronic controls. This unit utilizes five electrohydraulic actuators in conjunction with a powertrain control module (PCM) and its sensors to control shift timing, shift feel and provide on-board diagnostics.
The transaxle control actuators are electrohydraulic solenoid valves consisting of a housing, valve body, sliding armature and electromagnetic coil.
The actuators are located in the transaxle valve body."
I assume time, faulty parts, used fluid, etc is the likely cause of this.
As far as fix for this, I am no transmission expert, so I got no help.

well is a M-6 car still drives good and shift's good, the only thing is wen i shift and the rpm's are like at 15k the car kinda bucks like if im not giving enough throttle and sometimes wen im like in 3rd around 2k rpm's and i let of the gas it engine breaks really hard but then it stops and goes back to normal.

I don't know if it is the equivalent to a vehicle speed sensor. If it is, then it could be shorted out.

Can yolu verify the code - you should not get a 0702 code with an M6. 0702 is transmission control - electrical - and an M6 doesn't have it.
