LS1 appearance on an LT1
Well I finally got back into the game after losing my LS1 a few years ago...It's a 1995 Trans AM-White with black leather interior, M6, about 120k on the clock. It was in a light wreck; bumper cover and fenders need replaced so I'm thinking about putting on the 98-02 fenders, bumper, hood and headlights. I've seen some threads around here (can't find them to save my life
) and I know there are some guys that actually did it. My question is, what are some difficult aspects of the mod(s) and can I accomplish this with a moderate set of tools-my abilities, in my opinion, are about 6 out of 10. I really want the look of an LS1 and I can live with the fact that it has an LT1-not looking to swap motors just body pieces! I plan to build the LT1 later down the road. any opinions and comments will help!

The member I believe who has done this conversion is maxplus10. I have seen his car in person a couple of times at GM Carlisle and it is simply awesome.

I have seen a couple LT1 Trans Ams on craigslist with the LS1 body panel swap. Almost bought one but decided against it because of the hideous green paint and tan interior.
