Cheap replacement cats?

I'm at a crossroads with my catalytic converters. I'm not opposed to having them. I don't think they're robbing an outrageous amount of power from an otherwise stock vehicle.

Saturday however, I got what appears to be an infamous, P0420. SES is on, though I haven't tried to reset it. This is bringing me to the point. Is there a cheap way to replace my current cats? Maybe with an ebay facimile? This is going to be a short term solution to the issue, which I hope to remedy with a set of coated Pacesetters some time soon. Until the extraneous cash fairy visits though, I was hoping someone would have some suggestions for removing/replacing/resomething my cats on the cheap to hold me over.

Also, is this SES putting me in limp mode? My SOTP gauge is displaying a decrease in RWHP, and my wallet is smelling a decrease in fuel economy.

I bought a MagnaFlow for my 3800 Grand Prix GT. Seems to be doing OK. A lil' fitment issue with O2 sensor but 50,000miles and still doing good. It was a bolt in replacment type. Cost me $120 and I got $60 for my old...if that helps you at all.
