tail light covers

I just got my smoked covers today and put them on. I barely touch them and they move out of place and fall off. I heard to try using 3M mounting tape but they still come off. Is there anything else I can try besides using the night shades? I can't do the night shades cause it's illegal if they're to dark and I can't afford to buy new tail lights if I mess up. Any ideas?

Have any body shop spray them with a single stage clear/black mixture. They're totally transparent.

I finally got them to stay on with industrial velcro. Also if anyone gets clip on covers it's a VERY good idea to sand the edges cause they sctated the hell out of my berger panel.

Not yet. I had other expenses to worry about. Probably gonna get it fixed next week.
