Reasons you love your mechanic....
fill in some stories guys.
OK so i go to pick my car up today, i walk in the front door, and hes sittin there at his desk, cleaning his XD40 like its no big deal. he just sets it aside and grabs my bill.
I couldnt help but stand there and laugh...

I "like" my warranty.. I pay $100.00 and get a new engine, tranny, transfercase, cv-joints, unversals, drive shaft, wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rods, stearing gear, leaf springs, coils, A-arms, differentials, axles, calipars, lines, power locks, power windows, power mirrors, nav rear view mirror with dimmer, hinges, levers, latches, seals, radio, speakers, side curtain air bags, front and rear air bags, ignition, starter, cluster, The entire electronics package, etc,etc,
I'll..."love"whomever fixes it quickest..

I'm my own mechanic. Just finished up working on the lawn mower and doing an oil change and brakes on the wifes durango. Tomorrow is an oil change on the dirtymax. I love my mechanic because he gets me beer while I'm working. I also love my mechanic because he's the smartest person I know.

While I did all my own work as a kid I now leave such things to kids that are good and willing (LOL)...
I <3 my mechanic cuz he picks up and delivers my car for no extra charge...
BTW, his car is faster than mine so I trust his opinion and judgement + he's never ripped me off (having been "in the business" I'd know)...67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). I might consider financing if it was new.. My buget was $25k max this go round..
