    04 brake pads

    jus got a set of semi metalics and to say the least im not very happy with them. i was looking into a set of ceramics but i heard that they eat the rotors. is this true? also do the semi ceramics and yellow stuff pads have this effect?

    I run Wagner ThermoQuiet pads on mine. When I bought my car(used) it had EBC Red Stuff pads and they were pretty good...just turned my rims bronze.

    you must have the gold series, i needed new pads n all they had were the silver sieries aka garbage

    Some guys run C5 Z06 pads and just lose the tabs. Any of you guys do that? Its something I saw on another GTO board.

    Pretty sure that's only for GTO's with the 05-06 brake system; the 04's are smaller and don't use the Corvette part #'s

    I have C5 front pads in mine. Not sure if the C5 Zo6 are any different in size
