    Interior Door Panels

I am looking for a place to buy new interior door panels. Mine has the trans am crack. If anyone knows where I can purchase new doors please let me know.

check the parts for sale section, many members are parting out wreaks and such.

Also trans am creations (will have to look up, can't post non-sponsor link) is another good source.

If you do get a good set make sure you do the panel fix prior to install or you will have the same issue come back up.

I am familiar with the crack issue but what years does it actually effect? mine is a 98 and crack free, am I good to go or do I need to do the preventive fix?

99' and up, it seems it is only related to those yrs. One of the very few benefits of having a 98'. The other issue that seems to plague 99' and up is the sail panel issue.

They get those negatives we get oil pump and flow issues.

98 and earlier have a weak oil pump that was corrected in 99. If you look for a replacement look for LS6 style.

The oil flow problem I refer to also deals with how the block was cast on 98 and earlier. GM again corrected it by using the LS6 block starting in 01' and 02' yrs in F-bodies.

Here's the link for the fix:

Honestly, I would try the fix on the doors and see how happy you are with the results. Mine came out really good, IMO. If not, it'll give you some practice for the prevention of future cracks.
