part of my throttle cable bracket broke

During my intake swap while I was removing the throttle body this broke:

If you can't tell it's one of the cables that is attached to the TB by a clip. Isn't this the cruise control cable? Where do I get a replacement piece for this?

Dealer or eBay. I can't tell from that pic if you could possibly drill a new hole for the CC cable to fit into. A coworker of mine is going through the same thing with his 98 Grand Prix. I don't think that clip comes off the cable. I think you need a new cable/clip assembly. Try GMPartsDirect(sponsor) for reference and see if you can just get the clip.

I don't use cruise control. It should be fine to drive without it right? At least until I can get the new cable? I don't see how it would matter but I just want to make sure.

It's a separate cable. Don't worry. As long as you have the dedicated throttle cable that is working, you are golden.
