Whats this whistle
I got in my car today, cranked it up, and there was this immediate low whistle inside the cabin, scared me, so I killed it.
Passenger door was open, figured it might be a security reminder, shut the door, cranked it up, same thing.
Thought it my be a vacuum leak, since I just pulled off my EGR and AIR, gave it a little rev, no difference.
Nothing on the panel, no funny engine sounds, went ahead and dropped the E-brake, and it stopped.
Any help?

Only thing that comes to mind is if something is in the air intake, or a loose clamp. Possibly exhaust leak with the leak sealing after it gets warm-spurtin ideas out as they come.

i took a video, but i think i got it figured out.....the park brake thing was just a coincidence.
when it did it again, i popped the hood, hopped out, and it was def coming from under hood, by the fender......its my AIR pump, lol....ive unhooked the lines, but havent actually taken out the pump yet.

Glad ya found it easy enough.
All the more reason to rip it off imo..

lol that thing almost weighs nothing. For now spikito it has one plug that is easy to undo if you want that whistling to stop.

Biggest pain in the but will be the bolt in the back of the driver side head holding that air valve. 15mm?

haha pull the fuse and it wont run so if you dont get around to getting rid of the whole setup you wont have to hear it come on. at first i thought you mite be hearing some rfi but you said that engine rpm doesnt change it
