I would find a heater or some other kind of source to heat it up, that might melt it to the maf!!

I was afraid to do that. But it worked
Didn't place it on there for to long.
It wasn't easy to get it off.
Now I clean it up. And put it back the right way this time lol.

Yea I figured it would melt it, glad you got it off, and usually you have to heat them up to get them on and off.

lol i heard bout the volant but i never seen on a car.. i wonder if the difference is noticeable.
im sure will sound cool when you hit the throttle lol
idk what happened but i was having same issues with my slp lid.. now that i put it back it fits perfect lol
i have no clue what happened.. probably cuz i heat it up lol
before when you put pressure on the lid or close the hood the clips get lose, now you put pressure on it closed the hodd many times nothing happened,,
thats weird,

Yea I guess I just got a crap one that was just a lemon I suppose, but I have seen dyno's and the volant intake does alot better than the lid. Have you even seen what the volant intake looks like!!

Whenever it starts warming up or I get a day I can actually get out to the car and clean the filters up and install it back in the car I will take some pics and send them to you.
But the price of it was 270 I believe, the only problem I had with it was the elbow didn't fit just right threw the hole in the mount so all I did was make the hole a little bigger.

Yea I seen that same video cause I looked up the volant intake after I realized that I was having fitment problems to see if it was just me and found his video. But I think his main point was that you shouldn't have to do anything to car parts to make them fit properly for what he spent. But what he doesn't realize is that everything is pretty much custom and you have to make little tweaks to them to get them to your standards, he just sounded like a whiny punk to me.
But I will def shoot you some pics when I get it back on, but shit I didn't think about it till now but you have a maro I don't think it will fit on your car you will have to go with a different set up. Cause our hood seals to the intake!!

thanks bro,
yeah it seem like he was expecting something better lol
but i mean aftermarket parts you always have to do some work to them,
i thought the volant could fit on both.. but idk i guess i just need to find more info on them..
i would like to have one of those on my car,,

Yea they are like the k&n you can clean them just get the cleaning kit, that's why I changed back to the lid cause I wanted to see if it stayed cleaner than the volant but I don't mind cleaning them filters since they work/fit/suit me better. That was one thing about the filters is they got real dirty pretty quick, maybe because I did do a big trip during the month of march last year so that's probably what it was, and I went all the way to missouri so.
