If the price is good. Why not. Just make sure the spring is not lose or anything.
But the cheapest wAy would be just port mans polish the stock TB

id save for something else the stocker is good to 500hp id wait for heads/cam intake etc

just the tb the guy wants 150 he said he can have the tb ported thanks for ur opinions but will be better then stock?? or should i just have the stock one ported??

$150 is not bad at all considering that you can get a S3 P&P TB for the same amount. Everyone knows BBK very few know about S3 TB. I got one (S3) and didn't notice any big changes except a little quicker throttle response time over stock. Then again you need a dyno to be looking for those little gains Orion turned me on to them and have been very happy with it because I didn't spend $380 on a TB that does the same thing as a BBK. However if I came across a BBK for $150 I would have probably gotten it at the time just because I knew the name. just look it over real good and make sure the springs are good. Weak spring = shitty response
