Would This Cam Be Good For My Application?
I need to know what you all think about TSP Tsunami cam.
I am looking for a cam for my 02 WS6 with full exhaust and a 4000 stall that would make my engine capable to run Mid-Low 11 second set up on 243 and high 10's with a good set of head's without killing the driveability. It's not my daily driver but I do drive it on weekends cruising and sometimes during the week.

I think it is a bit big for what you want and if you don't have an excellent tuner, you can kiss drivability good-bye with that one...
I ran 11.4's in mine when I had a stock set of 243 heads and a 228/232 cam with a 3,800 converter...
If the car is put together right, you should be able to meet your goals with a TSP magic stick 3 and a good set of thier heads... those cams with the high intake lifts are hell on valve springs too...

the only reget I have is not going with that cam, if you have the tuner to make that cam drivable then I would say go for it.

Head/cam package
http://www.texas-speed.com/shop/item...d=680&catid=47
This is the heads/cam package I got. I included the oil pump and double roller timing chain as well. Chose tsunami 235/240 cam. Installed headers, a Z06 maf and lid. Did not get the intake - I should have. That would be my next upgrade. Went from 320 rwhp with just SLP exhaust to 418 rwhp with above setup. (Was 98 degrees and 85% humidity in San Antonio Tx during dyno tune.)
Get the intake

I have a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am WS6. With a whooping power of 325 hp at 5200 rpm, the V8 beast goes from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The 6-speed transmission is superb as well. Recently, I installed the 235/240 .648/.609 111 LSA Tsunami Camshaft with 237 heads and it amazed with me with a very high performance. A weekend cruising will be great on such a machine. Tsunami camshaft is a high-performance unit, so it is going to be a little harsh on the springs.

Local shop has a variation of that cam in several cars running around here.
I would take that cam over a MS3/MS4 for a street application. Apparently fairly easy to tune and can be pretty driveable on the street. That isn't to say it won't surge once in a while, but it seems proven.
That said....650" lift is insane on valvespring life. Consider that normal maintenance at 25K miles with that cam.
