area 51 on google earth
this is rad!i found area 51 on google earth!
search for "HWY 375" in "Rachel, NV" itll give you a point, look the right of the point, and zoom in a bit to find a god damn airbase in the middle of nowhere! that's area 51
make sure you select "satellite" from the top right corner.
i thought area 51 was always blacked out on overhead maps?!Last edited by third_shift|studios; 03-11-2006 at 12:59 PM.

Silver- Mexican killed my car
I've never seen it blocked but it probably should be. I spent one night checking out all the military bases i've been on and you can see way to much on those things. I was able to count all the planes and see where we used to build up all our bombs and stuff at.

It's even simpler, type "Area 51" into the search box...

What I find amusing is that soo many people still think there is anything of top-secrecy at that place. It has been so much in the public eye, and the subject of enough discovery channel specials, that anything important has likely been moved elsewhere, to bases that people dont give a second thought, because they're so fixxated on area 51.

I think area 51 was simply a hot-spot for nuclear weapons developement and research and the place where they built the SR-71 and similar aircraft.
I bet the place has been largely deserted since 1992 and the end of the Cold War.
Do I believe in aliens? Absolutely. The Universe is TOO HUGE not too, but i don't think area 51 has anything to do with it.
Regardless, if you cross that line with the "no trespassing" sign, you'll be shot on the spot.

LOL!! I doubt much research goes on there above ground. Im willing to bet most of it is done under ground, in wind tunnels and such. If they fly anything its going to be at night and im sure stealth technology is to a point now where just about anything could take off and you would never know about it even if you were there. Just think about stealth technology that we know about and when it was built. Most of the stuff we are seeing now has been in development for decades and is not "new" technology at all. You can only imagine what is in development now and what kind of ideas are flying around "literally". UFO's.. Naaa I think if there are other life forms they probably are not sophisticated enough to visit or are so sophisticated they are not interested in us or can monitor us from far enough away that we will never know about it. UFO's I belive are a biproduct of our overimaginative selves. Not to mention that alot of famous UFO sightnings are around military bases so you have to consider projects like "black book" and things of that nature. Just the military testing new techhnology.

Wow! That site is very cool and very scary at the same time! I don't know how often they update that thing but the picture of my house shows a car in the driveway I sold about 8 months ago.
