Front Bird Vinyl Overlay
I am about to order a few vinyls for my SOM ws6.. I am getting black letters to fill in the PONTIAC logo on the back but am up in the air about what color to get for the front bird. Initially I wanted black, but my door emblems (Trans Am) are silver, I'm starting to lean more towards that.. What do you guys think?
This is about the closest picture I have right now of the color of the door emblems..

I'm starting to lean more towards a reflective silver to compliment the doors, but still cant decide..

I say match the lettering to your door. That chrome does look good.

I went ahead and ordered a light silver bird. I almost ordered the black at the last minute, but figured it just wouldnt look right with the silver (not chrome) Trans AM emblems.. So now I'm hopin it actually ends up looking good. The chrome does look good, but unfort. I dont have any other chrome on the car, or I may have gone that route
btw i still got the black PONTIAC letters on the back though.Last edited by nichoLaS1; 10-20-2010 at 06:40 AM.

I think the silver will look good. The chrome lip on your rims go with the Silver door emblems but so would black lol. I think it should compliment it well, probably would have been my choice too if it was mine.

Just installed the front bird today, it looks great and really makes the front end pop.. I'll be putting the black PONTIAC letters on the back tomorrow.

Black- 2000 WS6 6spd Hooker LT
^^^I agree, it makes the front end pop. Glad you picked the same front bird overlay color as the side overlays.

Looks good, ...,

As mentioned before, ..., Keep it consistant.
Don't mix & match colors too much.
Sometimes will make it look like, ..., whoa, what the hell just happened, ...
Ya know what might look good all the way around?!?
A black decal that has been outlined with a thin chrome or silver, about a 1/16" or so!
Two-tone decals are awesome & I use a lot of them on my FRC's & Head/Intake Plates.
Yes, they are time-consuming & maybe costly, but, ...
