    Whats the best 383 stroker kit

    LISTEN GUYS i am looking for the best choice of 4 inch stroker kit for my ls1 .i am looking to make 650 rwhp with about 10 ponds of boost .so i am looking for a kit that will handle this level of power and be at a good price .

    Forged everything and go big or go home LOL. Go 408 not 383 lol cubes grow pubes. Don't listen to me just an LT1 guy board that nothing ever happens in the lt1 section anymore.

    I got the Callies Compstar stroker kit, its all forged and is pretty reasonable.

    I would go with a 408, not the 383... Iron block will hold the heads down much better with the boost... bigger bore will make more power too... get a forged shortblock from a reputable builder - you will end up cheaper than getting parts and taking yours to a machine shop...

    The Callies Compstar kit will easily hold your power and not break the bank. Generally the Callies stuff needs less cleanup machining than the Eagle and Scat stuff.....

    with that setup and 10lbs of boost you should have NO problem hitting that power or more
