If you were to cut Bruce Elder, he'd porbably bleed Ford Blue. When he laid out the plans for this '29 Phaeton, he had two goals in mind: expressing his personal vision of what a hot rod should be, while preserving the Model A's original essence. Working from Bruce's concept, Larry Rathburn of the Allegheny Speed Shop in Catawba, Virginia, performed the build, starting with a scratch-built chassis with a 106.5-inch wheelbase.
