Over heat?
My low coolant lamp has been on for a while now and today you could hear it boiling and fluid was pouring out of my overflow. any ideas?

Check the black rubber pipe running from your radiator to the thermostat housing once the vehicle is hot. You should be able to feel the flow and you should be able to squish it once the thermostat opens. This will tell you if you have a faulty thermostat (be careful, it will be hot). The only other thing I can think of is your H2O pump went bad, or your cooling fans are not turning on.

How did ya test the fans? if you turn the a/c on max the fans should come on. But like said above check your relay's and fuses..

Your dash temp gauge is an estimation at best... plug in a scanner or use a laser temperature gun on the car ASAP to check what the engine is actually running at. Stock fans don't kick until 212 or so for one and 224 for two -- if I recall. Turning on the AC should also activate the fans. As posted, be sure to check your cap and also your hose temps to ensure that the thermostat is opening. It is not uncommon for the sensor in the overflow bottle to malfunction.

Nah I havent replaced the radiator cap yet but I dont see how that would help?....Im pretty sure there isnt air in the system because after the install I took the lid off and started it up, let it warm up and then added more fluid and capped it back off....Its really tripping me out

Faulty radiator cap will not allow correct pressure to build.
A pressurized system raises the boiling point of the coolant.
No pressure = Low boiling point = overheat or boilover as described in first post.
Low coolant lamp = possible faulty or dirty sensor
