    Critical upgrades for 4l60e

    What upgrades should be considered necessary when rebuilding a 4l60e for 430rwhp na.
    I lost $1300 in an ebay deal from leveltentrans who I beleive is connected to coastal-transmission currently selling on ebay. Stay away from them.

    Sun shell. Stock is aluminum. You'll need "The Beast". It's made out of Stainless Steel.

    You'll probably want to delete Torque Management for the PCM and utilize a shift kit.

    You'll definitely want a good tranny cooler, especially if you're running a high stall torque converter.

    There are other internal mods that need to be done also...
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

    2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

    as the old man said ^ a beast sun shell is a must. Also a corvette style input shaft would be wise. of course clutches are suggested also.

    clutches

    For a street strip car what clutches are best? Alto hyper pack, Z pac, Or blue plate special. I have a 3500 stall and run drag radials. I have a complete bmr rear suspension.
