Echo Peak, Angora Lakes hiking
Here's a map of Angora Lakes
here's a topo map of a trail
Angora Ridge rd is beautiful
Fallen Leaf lake - pollen in water?
upper Angora Lake with Echo Peak up top in the middle, see the snow up there? - more about it later
my fat ass
only trail sign
flowery
Angora Ridge rd, you can see the Angora Lookout there
and this is how close to the Echo Peak I got, about 8700ft. Fail on the account of snow.
I was above the tree line so the view was pretty good
from the top:
Lake Tahoe
Fallen Leaf lake
lower Angora Lake
upper Angora Lake
from the high spot you could see something got dragged thru the snow to be eaten
South Lake Tahoe, CA
and that's it
I'm gonna hike there again in a month in hope the snow's gone
