    YO!! Computer techy question!!

i need to beef up my current athlon xp system so i can run the new elder scrolls game awesome like, but i dont know to much about the new pci express setups. Do i need 2 pci vid cards to run 16x mode?? Can someone explain this to me?? i still have 8x 5500fx agp.

I'd like to keep around a $500 budget plus whatever video card. Need some thoughts on this setup:

    Motherboard
    CPU
Need help with a vid card.. someone who knows what they are talking about please!
With this latest Asus board, i'll be able to get an x2 cpu when they come down in value.

I'll be carrying over my 2x 512 sticks of pc3200, 450w power supply and my drives.

I could buy the game for xbox360, but my gut tells me it'll be better on pc, but i'll want to be able to run it at optimal levels.
Here are the requirements for the game.

i dunno.. i never trusted the idiots at Best blow-me. I've used Tiger Direct several times in the past. Their prices are cheaper on some things. Ive found Newegg to be cheaper on MB's + chips... not the pringles kind.

It wont be any better on pc Dont you have xbox 360? if so just get it for that if not, you would need a sli board to run two pci express cards, because you have agp now, or you could just get a 6600gt agp and be good to go.

I don't know how popular the franchise is, but if you're looking for computer parts i suggest trying to find a MicroCenter near you. They have great parts for even better value. I built my own computer about a year ago, and got all the parts from there, it cost me less than $600.
