Ok thats what I was thinking, but should I just go ahead and buy a new transmission that will hold more power. I plan on being a H/C/I car with a 3600 stall or maybe bigger if I need it. So should I still get a stall or should I get a new transmission first?
I would like between 450rwhp and 500rwhp. My real goal is 450 though.Last edited by Mesterious; 06-04-2010 at 10:11 AM.

First thing is to get rid of that 10 bolt in exchange for a 12 bolt. Full exhaust, lid, fast 92mm intake, cam, and heads should get you around 480 at the wheels with the right combo.

He must have had a pretty large cam...
I also took the route xmarkx has mentioned. It kinda sucks, but I don't want my shit breaking as I'm trapping speeds in excess of 100MPH at the track..or while I'm f'n around on the street.
You mentioned full exhaust, I am assuming this means LTs also? Just making sure.
I would get SFC, LCA, LCA relocation brackets, and a rear end. THEN, go H/C/I.

Oh, and of course a stall and tranny cooler. How much money do you have to spend??

as far as suspension goes, the more you do the stronger your car becomes. the only exception is an after market K member. IMO that's more for weight savings then strength.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
You could get a mail order tune from FROST for now. I would continue with the suspension and rear end modding, there's plenty of work to be done, let alone money to be spent.
