sleeping woman sues for being left on plane

A woman from Ferndale, Mich. is suing United Airlines after she was left alone on a plane for hours after it had landed.

Ginger McGuire was aboard a United Express flight from Washington, DC to Philadelphia. She says she fell asleep during the flight. It landed shortly after midnight Tuesday but no one woke her up until a cleaning crew found her four hours later.

United Airlines says they are working with a regional partner carrier to determine why the plane wasn't cleared upon landing.

McGuire told reporters, "I fell asleep on the plane and next thing you know I wake up, it's 4:00 in the morning. Nobody's on the plane. Nothing."

McGuire has hired Geoffrey Fieger who is filing a lawsuit for false imprisonment, emotional distress and negligence.

she doesnt seem too emotionally distressed in the video ...what do u guys think?

She is an absolute idiot... Another lazy person trying to get some money they didnt earn, after 9/11 and the new awareness and laws im suprised she was only detained a few hours.

i'm surprised that no one checked the plane to waken the passenger though... i definitly agree with her being detained after!!!

now take this example...

elderly person on a plane "sleeping"... a few hours later cleaning crew trys to wake that person up to find they are dead... elderly person died from a minor heart attack... could that person have been saved???

i guess that one would have to depend on an autopsy to determine the tod, and then the next of kin would have to determine the course of action ( suing)

"so i woke up and i looked around and there was nobody there. and then i realized that i had to piss like crazy so i got up to use the bathroom and when i came out the guards were there and i was confused and i started laughing and i went with them and explained it all and i was released without any charges or anything. man...what a weird flight."

I aint buying that story.There is no way that happened.Every time you go to land there are at aleast 3 stewardes walking by making sure you're up in the upright position with seatbelt securely fastened.Then they walk down the aisles after everyone leaves.Surely they couldnt have missed somebody.Let alone sleeping through the landing please.Theres gotta be more to this story.

She deserves nothing if anything the pd should have given her a full body cavity check and detained her for a couple more hours to make sure she was not a terrorist planting a bomb. What a dumb bitch why does she think she deserves money for this I just don't get these people. Congrats bitch you just made everyone's airline tickets more expensive including any future tickets you buy. Well then again she does't care she probably will get tickets for life.

Im surprised no one from Us airways flight 1549 has not sued for the stress and aggravation they had or have they? It really would not surprise me if someone has.
