oil catch can vs. katech belt tensioner
so ive had an oil catch can in my car for a little while now, still have my egr hooked up cause i live in california (the rip me off state) anyways, if you take the egr out, you have a great place for your oil catch can, i dont have the luxury of taking the egr out, so i put the catch can bracket where the lower bolt is, for upper stock belt tensioner...so recently, i started throwing my belt and decided to get a katech solid tensioner to avoid that annoyance, the solid tensioner works great, only problem is now the catch can didnt fit there anymore with the katech tensioner installed. so what i did was i made a "custom" aluminum extension, around 2 inches in length for the oil catch can bracket, flipped the bracket around "backwards" (looks like lower case "d" when looking at the bracket backwards) and it just fit! im so proud of myself, hahaha
hope this helps someone else out...

Glad it worked out for you. I didn't have any problem with my Katech and KYSpeed catch can setup other then it being a total PITA to get a bolt in the head. Had to grind down a Allen head to get in there.

I'm sure I can find some pictures of my Katech and catch can together if anyone wants, or the OP can post his own.
