Veteran Section

**c5z28** · 05-01-2010, 08:36 PM

So whatever happened to it?

**Mr. Luos** · 05-01-2010, 08:52 PM

Nothing.

**c5z28** · 05-01-2010, 08:56 PM

Well shoot I thought I had something to look forward to

**Mr. Luos** · 05-01-2010, 08:57 PM

Nothing was ever really posted in there....
Which makes sense. Not much I would post in there that I wouldn't post in the AAG for everyone to see.

I think it got changed to the Guns/Ammo section....with everyone being able to access it.

The veterans section is still there.

It didn't get changed into anything else.

But it doesn't show up on the forums list.

However, with some creative searching, you can still access it.

I don't know what you mean?

What I did:
-I remembered a thread from the vet section
-searched "threads started by user" of the OP of said thread
-Sure enough, the thread showed up
-at the top you had the "LS1 Performance Information > Off - Topic / Discussion forums > Almost Anything Goes > Veterans Section > [thread title]" string
-click the "veterans section" link in the string
-Viola, you're in the 'hidden' section

He's smarter than me though, it only takes him about a 1/10th of the time to make a post as it takes me.

Very true.
Spent a lot of time on LS1 back when Sara was home with me. Anytime she was eating or sleeping...I would whore up the train and help in the tech sections.
Cut back quite a bit since.
