weird noise...

So yesterday I took the bird out on the interstate for the first time since i got the car back, and for the first time in ..well...2 months. It felt somewhat like a chore to keep the car around 70. Almost as if it were a little under powered. A buddy of mine and I just put new brakes and rotors on, so i thought about if it could be a caliper sticking. I took it out of gear and let it coast, and it didnt seem to slow down quick as if a caliper were sticking, but what do i know. Ive had a noise in the car since i got it back. At an idle, or turning around corners, there seems to be a grinding sound, or a clonking sound. I listened yesterday, and I can feel something clonking around either right in front and beneath me, or up in the engine compartment. I've taken it to an exhaust shop and the guy said nothing's wrong exhaust wise, sooo...what could it be?

Might be two different issues. +1 with Spaz on the noise. The lack of power could be clogged cats if you have them, or fuel problem possibly. Both easy to check - IMO I'd start there.

thanks guys. i hope it isnt the mounts..ive heard they're a real pain to replace...

They aren't that bad.
