Why does the gto's suspension pre load when put into drive?? That is fricken awesome haha does m6's do that too!?

I dunno about when in Drive, but the GTO was designed to "squat" under hard acceleration to place more weight on the rear wheels for better grip.

No I was test driving one and I was at a dead stop and when I took it from park to drive the rear end squAtted?? It felt pretty cool

Yah. I think it's related with the independent rear. The torque twists the axles and with the rear brakes applied, the rear end drops.
