vinny kissed a curb !

my son lost it with his 02 ws6 and kissed a curb this morning,busted one of the speedlines but i think that might be the extent of the damage ( i hope ).anyway i guess e-bay would be the place to get one ?

about an 8 to 10 inch chunk gone from the lip so i doubt its fixable but you never know those rim guys are good at that shit.

might want to check where the backside of the k-member attaches to the uni-body....when i smacked the curb it smashed that in a little, which toed my front wheel out a little.......ok a lot

ya before you buy a new rim look into that, but a 10 inch chunk is alot.

If it affects the tire sealing on the rim, you should just get a new rim. Don't want to risk a blowout...But I haven't had to get a rim fixed. Find a shop with a good reputation I guess would be your best bet..Let us know how it turns out for future references....

alrighty then pulled the wheel off.
the tire is still holding air.the busted chunk is about 1/2 inch x 5 inches.i called a wheel repair place and e-mailed him some pictures and he will let me know the deal.its friggin amazing how there are usually a ton of speedlines for sale but because i need one the have become almost extinct.undercarriage looks ok.

If it is still holding air, you might be alright....

My buddies old camaro had OEM z06 rims that were repaired once. Never knew anything was wrong till one day it was leaking air bad
Ended up being a hairline crack by the spoke. If it were me i would just find a new one.
