Alice in Wonderland
saw it yesterday with the g/f...we both wanted to see it cause we are tim burton and johnny depp fans. good movie...red queen and i liked alice although my g/f didn't. unfortunately anne hathaway pissed me off as the white queen...just the way she portrayed her.
at any rate...we don't have a 3d theatre locally but i heard that 3d is awesome in the movie...and based upon the 2d experience i would have to say that the 3d would kick ass.
did anyone else see it at all? like i say i thought it was pretty good. especially the joke about the fall of the aristocracy and the reference to the chinese silk worm smoking opium.

Saw it in 3D. Interesting, decent story, J. Depp was good, worth seeing.
The trailers do the film no justice.
Left me wondering if the acid heads will lose their minds watching it.

I'm a long time Alice fan and I thought it was very well done. There were criticisms of the picture because it was done as an "after the fact" in 3D but I thought it was just right the 3D wasn't in your face all the time but was used as an occasional effect. I thought the playing card army was well done. I never thought of them as being made of metal and they pulled off the patina of old paint on them.

I went to see it in 3d with the wife and son, It is a good flick. something about alice in the armor made me all tingly down there.
Spaz the good news is the colors are not as bright in the movie. give it a shot. The white queen drove me all nuts with the arm swinging and crap, too much like the good witch in wizard of oz.

Black- 2002 Camaro SS (crashed)
Nothing against Johnny Deep but some of his characters have all been exactly the same, example: Hunter S thompson (fear and loathing in las vegas), Jack Sparrow (Pirates of the Caribbean)Mad Hatter (Alice). Come on Johnny, I know you have more range then that.

The newspaper said it was weird and most of the action in the movie didn't have much meaning and you leave the theatre a bit confused by the mad hatter's actions.
I guess I could care less after reading the article.
