Dilemma - Please help ...
Well, maybe a good dilemma to be in.
Here's the story ... Worked hard bought a '98 Bird in '98. Kept it in perfect condition for the last 11 years. Decided to through a Procharger on it so that I could achieve even more fun and not buy a New Vette or something. You know tried to squelch the urge.
Worked harder - Recieved promotion and started looked again at that dream Vette I always wanted. For me, it's the 50th Special Anniversary Edition Vette. You know the one with Burgandy Exterior (I know Metalic Red) and Shale Interior. Still couldn't find one... Been looking for a good one for years.
Then, out of the blue one pops up for sale the way I want it but, $5K more than I wanted to pay for it. So, I make a offer and they take it. So.... I'm sitting with the option to take the S/C bolt it to the Vette. Or, keep the Vette and Bird as is and just enjoy them.
If the Vette is S/C it will produce over 500rwhp.
The Bird sits at 460rwhp.
I hate to do anything to the Vette because it's an Aniversary Ed. But, I'm not sure I want to keep the Bird around as a back up to it. I probably should because without the S/C on her she'll only bring $8-10K right guys? And she is just too nice to let go for that.
Don't have any pict of Vette yet.
Lastly, I'm thinking if I sell my F-100 and something else... I might be able to swing this without giving up the Bird... But, what else? Just thinking to myself.
10:56p - Answered my own question. Don't think the wife is gonna like the S/C whine in the Vette. So that means ... I have to keep the Bird !!!!

I say S/C the Vette and then buildup a big cube H/C motor for the 98 and make it into a drag car/ weekend toy

It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

adding the Procharger to the bird won't really increase the value of it all that much, not nearly as much as what the procharger cost alone.

Well,,,,I'd stick the procharger on something, because reselling the kit would be a loss as well. Just can't get new money for something that's been owned, even if it hasn't been installed yet,,,,,so use it.

Or donate it to a worthy cause - like making my car faster!
Agreed, you should put it on the bird.
