Corvette auto leather shift boot fitment on T/A

So I've seen a few write ups where guys have taken leather boots for Manual's and glued/opoxy them to the underside of there A4 console to make them fit, Not bad but didnt look quite right to me. So I did some searching and found a replacement leather boot for an automatic corvette.

Has anyone else put one of these in? "OR" Does anyone know of a reason this wouldnt fit an A4 T/A?

I put a grandprix leather boot in mine, not the best fitment and required some cutting.
I say you be the guinea pig and find out for me

I don't mind being the test fit guy, its only $30. I've already have a couple weeks worth of parts setting here awaiting the spring rebirth from storage in Apr. If no one replys with definate fitment issues Ill order this weekend and let everyone know in mid Apr.

i would expect it to fit better than the gp leather. not knocking ya c5z, its just my expectations

Mine is a little on the tight side, and this looks like it has more front to back movement potential. I already forked out I want someone else to try something out.
