White- 01 Chevy Express G2500
Hello
Hello to everyone. Ok let me start off by saying that yes I am a Ford guy and I love my Fords but that is not why I am here. I have a 2001 Chevy Express van that has a 350 Vortec that has given up the ghost after 210k miles. So now that we have gotten that out of the way. I have been looking for info on this swap and found this website and hope that some of you GM LS guys can help me out with this.......Mike.

White- 01 Chevy Express G2500
Thanks for the welcome guy and for not beating me up on my user name. I picked up a LS1 with complete wiring harness and it only has 36k on the engine. I picked up this complete engine for 500 and I dont think that I am going to do the swap now. I have been finding info on this swap and it looks like it will cost me more to do it then to just rebuild the Vortec 350 that is in the van now. I might look for some other vehical to swap this LS1 into later but for now its time to rebuild the 350. If anyone has any better info then I have found and can lead me to it I would still consider the LS swap. Thanks Mike.

That is why I wanted to go that route with the LS1. Is there any other websites that I can find more detailed info on this swap. I know that a Express van is not a popular swap and I dont know if anyone has ever done one on such but this van is my Business and with out it I am just losing money. I already have the LS1 so that half of the battle is over now its going to be battle to get it in there. I have been looking at the wrecking yards for vans that came with the LS in them to get some of the parts to do this swap but not having much luck with that even. For shits sake I cant even find a 350 Vortec in the wrecking yards and they made hundreds of thousands of them. Any ways as always any info that anyone can help lead me to would be very well appreciated. Thanks Mike.
