it comes out through the bottom. remove the flap that always hit the curb when you park in a lot (its like 12 bolts if i remember right).

I just removed the two 10mm bolts for the flap and then had to find some tiny sockets to remove the several bolts if I remember correctly. It came right out (two years ago). I remember It was hard to get a ratchet to fit in the space for all of them.

I honestly can't remember how I removed mine. Walked into the garage and popped the lights. It looks like there's a backing plate which they are bolted to. I would try to pop the headlights, then turn them to the middle setting to turn off the bulbs. You should be able to see and move the drl around from above. I don't think I slid it outwards from the bumper, but positive it won't go back.

they can't come out the front, the lens is bigger than the hole in the bumper. if i remember right there's only 2 bolts holding the whole headlight assembly. unplug, unbolt and get it out of the way.

so the corner of the signal is hitting a bracket on the inside of the car and it looks like the headlights are coming out now
