i want to trade my camaro for a 99-02 trans am or camaro. must be the ls1 and t56 set up. i can not afford the gas in it and need something with better mpg's, why not an f-body?

.20 cent more a gallon for 15 gallons is like 3 dollars a tank which is like 1.2 gallons saved. 14mpg freeway vs 26mpg freeway is 210miles vs 390miles on a 15 gallon tank. You do the math, he is saving almost half of his gas used. 14mpg for the 75 is just a guess depending on the engine and or carb mods. and i have gotten better than 26mpg in my T/A a couple of times.

comp cam, hooker headers, cherry bombs, eddlebrock intake and carb 600cfm, guessing about 300-320 hp, little mamage on right quarter-parking lot present, i did the mpg math and i get about 8mpgs

Lol i knew 14mpg was conservative as my 355ci engine i had in my malibu only got about 10mpg with a mild cam and 600cfm carb when i was nice to it.
