iroc with ls6
hey guys. just picked up a 90 iroc with ls6 off autotrader. it has a thunder racing 224 cam and 1 3/4 inch full lengths,3600 stall,4.10 gear. ive had my 89 iroc for 10 years and have had the swap on my list for sometime. saved a ton of money but missed out on the experience that you would gain from the pitfalls of doing such a swap yourself. look forward to your insight on future upgrades and problems alike. my 89 bested the 1/8 mile at 7.40 at 93mph,1.58 60 foot. she had all the free mods and bolt ons and a 180 shot. my new one is faster on the motor. stripped the 89 of all the good stuff and have a nozzle coming this weekend to convert my plate system to the ls6. cant wait to find the weakest link and break it!
