Silver- At least its paid for.
Just drove an 04 GTO
It had 79,000 and it was an auto. It is at a dealership for 13,888. After my trade in I could have it for 10,800. I just dont know though. Don't know if I like an auto or not. My 98 z28 and 99 Trans Am were 6 speeds they felt a lot beter.

I'll take my a4's over a stick any day of the week. Get it and I'll tune it for you and adjust your torque management and shift firmness. You'll never want another stick.

Wrong. I'll always want another stick. I like to move my own stick, dammit.
For those who want AT cars, tho, they can be tuned to drive nicely, especially with a stall. Still tho, I like to use my left foot for as high or low as a stall whenever and however I like. If OP really likes to shift themself, he will prolly regret not getting a manual. That's the main reason I sold my 1998 Trans Am, it was AT and I really missed my 4 speed in the '67 400 Firebird I sold in 2000.

IB4T A4/M6 battle. It always gets heated due to strong opinions. I'll take A4 for the track (If I was that much into it/which I'm not) and M6 for the street (where I do most of my fun things) So with that being said, M6 FTW for Me Best would be both, which can't be argued

From what I have read about the A4s in the goats, be careful when hitting the gas. I have heard many stories about the A4 GTOs downshifting HARD and drivers losing control. If you are in 4th and stomp the gas, the trans will most likely go from 4th to 2nd rather than 4th to 3rd. So watch how you drive the car once you buy it.

Shit, my '98 TA would go from 4th to 1st, under the right conditions, when I floored it. Was fun. But not as much fun as the M6....

I have hptuners and efilive. I prefer hptuners but they will both get the job done. I'm saving my efilive credits I have left for when I get a diesel.
The a4-m6 thing is a personal preference deal and everyone has their own preferences. I prefer the a4's. Better for a DD when you're in traffic and you stall one and they're more consistent at the track. Just a preference deal I guess but I'll never own another stick car.

the a4 vs m6 is one of those things where the automatic guy is always gonna talk about consistency, and torque converters and tenths of a second better drag times etc. But the pure stickshift guys will always enjoy shifting their own car. I dont care how fun a built automatic is, if you like to shift with a clutch and use the clutch around corners, etc theres no replacement for it.

I have driven autos all my life. But when I got my TA it had to be a M6. I will never own an auto sports car.
If you ain't using all four limbs, you aint driving.

I'd have to pass and find a 6 speed... autos to me no matter how well they shift are just plain boring.
