    Damn near bought a 2nd gen...

    Guy on a local forum was selling an 81 that had been converted from a 301 Turdbo to a Black and Gold with a 400... It was in pretty good shape and he only wanted $2500 for it...

    If i had somewhere it could sit without taking up garage space i prolly would have grabbed it up... Just bad timing and it wasnt perfect... If it had been a 78 ws6 with a 400... It would be mine...

    $2500 is nice for a 2nd gen 400. Hopefully there were no gremlins or major rust problems with it when ya saw it. Ya don't want to inherit someone else's headache. Know what I mean?
