Found out my "friend" is a ricer today

This dude named Jeffery, he is 17. His parents buy him shit that most kids would kill for. his first car is a 03 Stang GT 5 speed. he has a Fipk on it and some shitty cat back. When I first met him he had under glows and shit on it, so I made fun of him and he did'nt want to be a ricer. So he never cut them on. Now I thought all was good... I thought he understood what it means to be a "Car guy". Until today when I talked to him on AIM. I can't CP it because its too long, but he said he does'nt care about doing his own mods, he does'nt care about learning how to go fast. He basicly does'nt give a fuck about anything. But he wants to "go fast". He said there is no point in learning anything about cars when you can pay somone to do it. That fuck'n blew me away. He really pisses me off, to think I wasted my time trying to turn some poser ass cock sucker into a real car guy.

He also thinks his Parents are going to make some killer sum of cash because some housing appraisers said there house is worth a little less now than last year, thats all the information I could get out of it. Sounds stupid to me, But he thinks he is getting a vette or somthing. Btw, he wrecked his Crustang about 2 weeks ago because he can't drive.

Dude your friend Jeffery should get an SVTcobra! Man I raced one of these things the other day that thing was out on me. The 2003 cobra is the way to be! This thing is so fast and if jefferys parents can afford it then he should get it. Tell jeff if he wants to race a man I am here waiting with over 500plus horses under the hood!

Rich guys go fast. Aint never going to enjoy the "experiance" of being a gearhead...but can haul some serious ass.....Older I get...less I wrench....but I still know what is going on......he will be taken advantage of....they will know he doesnt know shit and charge him $10 grand for a nitrous install.....

reguardless if he is your "friend" as you put it, then who cares if he is a car guy or not???? My best friend of 25 years its by no means a car guy at all, but he is still my best friend.....if he is a true friend to you, then who cares what he likes, and who he pays to work on his car

ignorance is bliss. I like to know what's wrong and what it takes to fix it, but don't ask me to help. I don't think i'm a ricer for it-just ignorant. If i had the $$ to learn from my own mistakes I wouldn't mind hacking at an engine all day, but I made a 1400$ mistake last year doing that, so from now on I take it to the pros-they're very trust worthy. just slow.

I think some of the best parts about owning a fast car is learning how to make it faster or quicker or whatever. Me and my friends had some of our best times working on his or my car. He was in to VW. I could not see why he spent all his money on rebuilding the engine and stuff. But he loved the damn things. I helped him work on those and he helped me work on whatever Pontiac I had at the time. Good times.

I would'nt care if he did'nt go around making fun of people about there lack of knowledge when he can't change a spark plug. If he does'nt know somthing then man up to it. He is pretending and I just thought he could be real with me and not some punk
