stock rockers w/ aftermarket valvetrain...help!
Recently assembled my 273 xer cam w/ ls6 cnc heads milled just .003. Have stock new timing chain, stock lifters and pushrods, stock rockers but with the heads there are aftermarket springs. Which valve adjustment should I go by,the standard gm adjustment with just torqueing them to 22 ft lbs or as I have seen listed, 0 lash, tighten to half a turn? Reccomendations for this application? Have ordered a pushrod length tool also...Thanx again

I see stock casting heads, clean up mill, and stock rocker arms. I dont know why you would want to do anything different then torqing them down to 22 ft lbs... cranking the motor over a few times and checking.

Stock 22 ft/pounds. That goes for anytime you run the stock rockers.

That is correct. The stock rockers are not adjustable. The lifter preload and valvetrain geometry is set by the pushrod length.
If there is an issue with lifter preload or geometry you would need one of two things, either a different length pushrod or spend the extra dough on an adjustable valve train setup.
