I don't see why you would have a prob with 17 rims the SS camaro comes with 17 inch wheels ..as for the tires check this sticky http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread...ht=tread+width

welcome to the site...theres a lot of us here in tyler and in the surrounding area.
i runs 17X9.5 on mine, with 235s which arent wide at all...i think 285 is about as wide as ive ever seen 17s offered, and 315 is about as wide as you can go without issues.
Ill meet up with you sometime and put one of mine on your car and see how you like it.

315s on the back and 275 in the front, but the 315s start to get cut up on the edges once u hit the 400hp mark at a good fast take off the weel will push against the fenders citing into the tier, unless u use a heat gun and roll the lip of the fender in

depends on how long youve been here, lol...i moved to whitehouse 2 years ago, then into tyler in april, but i wrecked it july 4th. Its at my dads now while we fix it.
mines pretty recognizeable, theres only 4 polo greens in town, one looks like shit, one has black ZR1's, the other is stock.

so far i have seen 19" x 11" wide wheels on a camaro with no problems. Those were ccw's. It going to depend alot on the offset spacing of the wheels. Camaros have a very different offset than most other cars, and you either have to find a manufacturer who specializes in camaros or get custom made wheels if you want to get wide wheels. Sure there are tons of different wheel options for camaros, but not if your looking for wide ones. Like i said CCW's are incredible wheels but they are a pretty penny.
