Court
So, today I went to court and saw the judge tell 3 people in front of me, "I can reduce your fine but I cannot reduce the points on a 4-point speeding violation." I also learn which I did not know that if I plead not guilty that the judge would listen to my side of the story on the spot. I thought that if you plead not guilty that you waited till another day with a jury, lawyers, ect. So, the judges asks me how I plead and I say guilty to the ticket but I have another question. I asked him about the ticket I got for my wreck in April and told him I did not understand my rights at the time and I would like to re-open my case. He said I could do that. Then proceeds to hand me my ticket where he reduced the fine and the points. So all in all I came out of court pretty good today. Now maybe I can get the points dropped from my wreck too!!!

I got a ticket for failure to yeild right of way. They ruled it my fault. However, it was 7:20am foggy the sun was barely up, there had just been devistating fires where the roads were actually closed (that day) just up the road from the accident, the car was grey, and no headlights on! I think we were both at fault here!
