Drill Mod?
I was searching around and some people were talking about a drill mod on 98-02, I derived it relates to the slave cylinder. I did a search and didn't really find much information on it.
What is the problem? What is the drill mod exactly?
Is this something I should be considering doing for my 98?

http://www.ls1camaro.net/sections.ph...rticle&artid=1 Also at www.installuniversity.com as part of a master cyl R&R w/a couple pics. Don't know how much it helps (A4 here) but a couple people I know have done it.

The 1/8" bit won't go past the fitting. Do I need to drill out some of the fitting too? That won't cause any probs will it? One step smaller will go past the fitting but it didn't take much to drill it past the restriction in the line and I'm still getting funky clutch action after hard, high shifts.

Yeah, the exterior-most orifice is smaller than 1/8". From what I understand, I could certainly be wrong, the restriction is past this point, within the line. Drilling the restriction out with a 1/8" drill bit requires you also drill the orifice of the fitting out to 1/8", at least it would on my car.
