Does anyone know of anywhere to find parts for a 70s yamaha mx80 other than ebay? Were rebuilding a '73 frame/'79 engine and tranny mx80 and cannot find the damn piston and rings for it!! That and the clutch but its a weird clutch anyways. Told ya its a long shot :-/

Its very possible they are the same as the yz80 and Gt80 of that year. They used the same overral engine just in different states of tune. So look up yz parts too.

Awesome thanks d00d... We got it completely disassembled today, im starting the prep for painting tomorrow and dunno what kind of scheme to go with - i want it to be sharp looking but not overdone. Im so excited, this is the second bike ive done this year
