Will these heads work?
Hey guys i was talkin to one of my boys and he was tellin me to put 305 heads from a sb chevy on my LS1 for more power. Has anyone seen or heard of this being possible to do to my car? Or is he just running his mouth about s*** that he does know about?
Thanx in advance
Ben

No, these heads will not bolt on an LS1. They have a different bolt pattern for starters and also do not flow as good as any stock ls1 head. He is talkin smack!

old days idea. 305 heads have 58cc chambers. so, people would put them on to raise the compression. meanwhile, the intake valves were smaller than the ones in 350 heads. turned right around and killed what they tried to gain.
here's pics i took when i had both design heads.
