2004 Z06 or 2005 Corvette LS2
So, I seen a few for around the same price range. Which would you guys prefer? A 2004 z06 or a 2005 "regular" Corvette? I believe they perform about the same. I'm not sure the differences in handling between the two.

The 2005, no question. Much better styling, IMO.

The C5 ZO-6 is going to be faster and handle better stock to stock.

Red / Lemans Blue- 00 Z28/04 Z06
Between those two I would say C5 Z06. You get to save cash and mod the Z. If you go on the Corvette Forum you will see that the 05 C6 have some "bugs" that later editions don't have. If you really want a C6 you have to get a 2008, with the LS3 and optional exhaust system you will be at 436Hp.

Z06 gives you a bit of exclusivity that you don't get with the LS2.
I will look at a vette, I will turn my head for one with badging on it.

go rip through the gears in a c5z06 with its screaming powerband and you'll be addicted. It never stops pulling.

aight. Thanks guys. I'm also assuming the C5 Z06 will probably be cheaper in insurance as well. :-)

Correct me if I am worng, but, didn't the C5Z come in notchback only? I only ask cuz I was at a car show in NY and there was, what looked like, a C5Z, silver, with mods and the rear fender vents were filled in. Looked like it had CCWs like Prestons.

Seriously people, speed wise there almost identical! Basically, pick which one you think looks better to your eyes. They will both be almost the same speeds of each other and run the same times.

2005. Better styling. Better Interior. Higher Top Speed. Nuff said

And for people who are saying higher top speed.. just take off the fricken speed govern. Cause technically I guess my top speed is like 300, top speed doesn't mean jack shit, were not driving a bugatti here people lol. Theyre both around the same price, both have the same power, difference is maybe handling and the styling obviously. Choose whichever YOU think looks better and feels better to drive. Either one is a win win situation.
