New camaro pricing
You guys have all seen the ads for the new camaro "starting around $23,999" crap. Has anybody seen a new camaro base coupe under 32grand? What gives? If you ask me, the car is starting to grow on me. I posted here a while back my distaste for it and after seeing it in person it is a nice car. Trouble is, why does everyone go out of their minds over a new car? If people just "chilled" out a bit and let the newness wear off the price would drop. I saw a guy on ebay selling his that he bought new for $28.5k plus TX sales tax. He can't sell his other car that he thought he could so the camaro has to go. It's a nice car but it's NOT new and he expects to get the full price he paid and someone WILL give it to him, crazy! Your thoughts please.

IDK, I like my local dealer, hence why I bought the Trans Am from them. My family has bought a few cars from them and they gave me an decent deal on the Trans Am. Plus it has been owned by the Transmission tech guy at the dealer for most of the miles, so it's in good shape. I can honestly say they are a good dealer. They said they only plain to get one Camaro, maybe two (V6 and V8). Keep them for Demo's etc, then order them for the customer, it's a small dealer though. But usually on hot items, they don't mark them up like other dealers. They just either sell them for MSRP or just below. I know when the Zo6 came out for the C6, in our area they where about $14,000 cheaper then all other Chevy dealers after there stupid markups.

White Liquid Silver- 2000 Camaro SS/ 02 YZF-R1
Saw a guy in a black SS at a local Corvette night show and he said he ordered it in Oct 08 and paid 38K loaded---minus sunroof which was his preference.

Still it's a CAMARO! That's near new vette pricing a few years ago. It is a nice car with a useable back seat granted but time will tell if it's any better than the one it replaced. Still rather have a GTO

I still think the LS1 F-Body is just as good, hell its more bang for the buck and looks just as good looking. By what I read, there pretty much the same in the 1/4 mile, just does not handle as good compared to the Camaro (correct?). But there's still people who want something newer with an warranty. I don't think about $30,000 for 400+ HP is all that bad when it looks like a killer...
Is it 400+ HP to the wheels or fly wheel?
