    It finally happened..

I bent a pushrod! Or at least I think I did... either that or my dam cheap headers are leaking again! anyways it coming from around piston #2 so I'm gonna replace the header gasket and I might as well do the pushrods too already... my question is, what pushrod size and what are some good ones that won't kill my pocket?

I believe hi-po answered this already for me but I forgot where it was ops:

Stock heads? Whats not stock in the vavletrain? 7.4 is the stock length needed. Just call COMP and ask for stock LS1 pushrods. I think a set of them run 100-120 bucks. I just sent a set back and recieved somewhere around there.

What happened? Miss a shift? Why do you think you bent a PR?

All my drivetrain is stock. And i shall call them, thanks!

And I think its that cuz I have hit the rev limiter before and it sounds something like a loose ticking noise (im not real good at describing noises ) when i rev the engine a little im guessing to about 1500 but i can clearly hear it coming from the top of piston #2.. its either that or a header leak but im pretty sure its the pushrod or maybe a loose rocker? Im not really thinking its a header leak again.. ill try to get some video of it tomorrow when i move it, i havent moved it since it started with the ticking

and if its not pushrods, well i might as well do it before it happens

well i tried to get some video but my crappy g1 sucks a it and i have no idea what happen to my dam camera but anyways i used the old waterhouse trick and pinpointed the noise to an exhaust leak coming from under the header gasket in piston #4

So it's a header leak? I have been told stock manifold gaskets are the way to go with headers as the gaskets that come with the headers tend to leak. I dunno if it's the materials used to make the header gaskets or what.
